Hola! I am Jonathan! Originally from Belgium, I arrived in Puerto Vallarta few years ago when I was travelling around the world with my camera. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the country and the Mexican culture so I decided to start a new life here. I've been doing photography for almost a decade and I enjoy every session like if it was the first one. I always intend to capture the emotions in my images in a fresh candid style mixed with some fine portraiture. I love to meet new people from all around the world and the best gift I receive from my work, is the satisfaction of my clients when they finally discover their photos 🙂

We had a Proposal in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I wanted a beach location and somewhere away from the big city. Jonathan was great! He helped with choosing the location and the perfect time to make sure we had the best lighting. He provided directions on how to get to the beach. Suprise beach proposal in PV. to capture the moment. The photoshoot was amazing. Jonathon told me a great spot to meet on the beach in front of our resort and pretended to be another tourist capturing the sunset when we got there. He followed us down the beach and then captured the proposal perfectly. After she said yes, he approached us and introduced himself and we began our 1-hour photshoot. Jonathon is a pro and great to deal with - the pictures turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier with them. We have been together for 7 years since we were 15 years old. We have always known that we were the one for each other and wanted to get married one day. With us graduating from college soon and a recent spring break trip planned to Mexico I knew that this would be one of the most romantic and special locations to propose. Everything worked out how I wanted it to and I am so thankful for Local Lens for helping me find a photographer to capture this long-awaited moment. For my proposal. I was proposing to my girlfriend of 7 years during her first trip to see the ocean. Everything went perfectly and she had no idea that it was coming during the trip.
