Thanos Rivios was born in Athens in 1983 and has been living in Santorini for around 15 years and knows the island quite well. Photography gave him the chance to turn one of his greatest passions into a career. Santorini is very charming and full of history which attracted him to pick photography as a hobby. Soon he realized he enjoyed photography too much and would want to pick it as a full-time profession. It comes very naturally to him and he knows how to get people to just let loose and work for the camera. Photography is his passion and he loves taking pictures and exploring new places so much. As an artist, he feels that he is able to bond with all his clients on a personal level letting them know this is a 100% judgment-free zone and they'll leave looking and feeling fantastic! He believes that through photography he will be able to help you explore your creative side and most importantly discover the mesmerizing streets of beautiful Santorini. Therefore, he will be more than happy to show you around the most iconic places where you can have your dream vacation photos. Whether your images are for a single shoot, family/couples and groups, or for social media platforms, rest assured he'll make it happen. We did a 90 minute photo shoot with Thanos in Oia and he did an amazing job.
The photo shoot was for my family of five and included solo shots and multiple different combinations. Thanos knew exactly where to go to get the best shots.
He was great with the kids and they were immediately comfortable with him. He had a great way of communicating with everyone that made people feel comfortable and also resulted in the best shots possible.

We booked a one-hour family session with Thanos during our vacation. That’s about the right duration as we had a little baby. We met at 8 am, and Thanos knows all the good shooting spots around Imerovigli. He captured some amazing moments for our family, and we are very happy with the photos. I booked Thanos to take solo pictures for my daughter, and at the last minute, I asked him if he could take some pictures of my husband and me. He was patient and gave us the right amount of direction, making the shoot so smooth and making us feel comfortable.
I just received the gallery and I love them all. It will be very hard to choose. It was also very thoughtful of the souvenir he gave us.
