As a photographer living in Washington, D.C.’s historic Ward 7, I love taking advantage of its beautiful green spaces to practice natural light and portrait photography. I’ve lived in the District of Columbia for more than twenty years and I’ve been a professional photographer since 2004. Portrait photography in D.C. is a breeze with its many great scenic gardens, murals, and artful spaces all around the city to use as backdrops. My favorite locations are near placid waterways and beautiful reflective water features.
