In November 2019, my husband and I decided to elope and forgo a huge wedding that we were planning for October 2020. Since we would save so much money by eloping, we decided to put that money towards a honeymoon of a lifetime in Italy. We were all set to go in April 2020, but the world shut down 1 month before our big trip due to the Covid pandemic. We were crushed. I really wanted something that would capture the moment and I'm really bad at taking photographs or videos so I knew we needed a pro. Everything went perfectly.
Samantha helped me with location and planning. I accidentally noted the wrong time when I checked maps so we ended up being 30 minutes early but amazingly Samantha was already there and gave me a subtle gesture to show me she realized and was ready to capture the moment.
I hand-made a photo album of our journey together with messages and promises on each page and we read it together at the location on the last page I got down on one knee and asked her to marry her. I felt like I was floating. I wasn't even sure if I got down on one knee, I'm lucky I rehearsed it in my office otherwise I think I may have fallen over.
After she said yes, I put the ring on her finger and we hugged and had a moment. Samantha & her Husband introduced themselves with congratulations.
