Taylor and I are nurses. We both met in our new grad residency. I would follow Taylor around and she thought I was annoying. Eventually, she warmed up to me and gave me a chance! We travelled to Cancun on our Baby moon and wanted someone to capture our precious memories as a couple before we turn 3. Whenever we go on vacation it’s either my husband clicking my solo pictures or the other way round. That was the biggest reason that we wanted to hire a photographer. We met with Daniel through Local Lens. Absolutely enjoyed this shooting experience with him. He was very prompt with his communication and patiently responded to all our questions. His friendly nature made us very comfortable around him and we did not hesitate doing some quirky poses. We booked a shoot because we had a proposal. I booked with Daniel for a photo shoot in Playa Norte to surprise my girlfriend by popping the big question! However, our boat to Isla Mujeres didn’t dock in time for sunset. Daniel was very helpful and was more than willing to make up the photo shoot the following morning for a sunrise proposal closer to our resort. He was extremely accommodating and was very nice about the whole experience. I would definitely book him again and highly recommend him for your next photoshoot! -Aman

We booked a shoot because we wanted to make it a really memorable experience. Daniel met us just outside of the terminal on Isla Mujeres and walked with us to Playa Norte. There he took the photos and helped us get fantastic proposal photos and really made it a magical moment -Bradley

Daniel is AWESOME! We had everything planned for him to come into the resort we were staying at, and had a whole plan set up for the proposal.

I talked to the resort weeks before and even the day before he showed up to make sure he would be allowed into the resort to take the pictures.

The day comes Daniel arrives and long behold the resort doesn’t want to let him in. This is 30 minutes before we planned to get the actual shot and get him in position and do this.

I was panicking at this point but I talked to Daniel and we decided a plan last minute. Daniel with his knowledge of the area drove us down to the beach where we pretended to just do a normal photo shoot. Then BAM I popped the question and he got the perfect picture. And of course a bunch of great photos afterwards!

Daniel went above and beyond and I’m so glad he did. He really helped me out and what could have been a disaster turned into something even better than I imagined. Thanks Daniel! -Warren & DeAnn

His recommendations, ideas, sense of humor, and an overall joy to work with are hard to come by. Being my first time in the country, I had no clue what to expect or how it would all come together. He walked me through every step and in the nicest and most professional way, recommended another shoot location even though I had another idea and location planned out for my surprise proposal (which is hard, sight unseen), and I am very glad I took his advice.

I wish I could fly him to the U.S. to do the wedding as well.

Every once in a while, everything works out as perfectly as you'd hoped and it would not have, if not for Daniel. It's hard for me to not be in complete control of a situation where everything has to go right the whole time and put my trust in a strangers hands...but i'm glad I did, and by the end of that short hour and a half together, that stranger was a friend.
