We traveled to NYC because for our 10 year anniversary. For certain circumstances we did't hire a photographer on our wedding, so this was the perfect moment to change that.

After reading lots or reviews we decided to hire a professional photographer to capture great images. Lauren was incredible to work with, she was super patient while planning the photoshoot and once we were there she made us feel really comfortable.

As we were not from the city we were concerned about arriving late, but Lauren made it clear that we could reach her if something weird happened. Luckily we arrived on time. -Jonathan

We had a Proposal in New York City We wanted to have nice photos as memories of this very important day of our lives! It was absolutely amazing. We had the best photographer we possibly could have. As it was pouring rain on that day she offered to meet us the next morning and took us to a amazing romantic spots to shoot our engagement photos. She was so lovely and we had loads of fun during the photoshoot. All photos turned out so great too, we absolutely love them. We met in college and have been together for 6 years, living in NYC for the past 2. Since lockdown, we haven't been able to travel home, so I decided to propose right before we fly back to Ireland next week. I picked The Strands rare book room as my fiance is an avid reader and the photos came out beautifully. Wanted proposal pictures to share with family. The shoot went amazing. Right from the moment I knew that she was the one, I knew that the proposal had to be in New York City - atop the Empire State Building! The proposal was meant to be a surprise. We had the Happily Ever Empire package booked and ready but my intended did not know. Our photographer, Lauren, was already waiting on the 86th floor wherein there was a small area set aside for us along with champagne for us to make a toast. We got a quick guided tour of the Empire State Building (Thank you, Renita! You're a rockstar!) before we got to the top, where I popped the question and Lauren captured the moment. No better place than the top of the building NYC is known for. 🙂 Then it was Lauren's turn to shine and she absolutely understands the assignment! She took us around the city, clicked pictures in various spots, and kept advising us (on our request) on how to get the best shots. Lauren has been responsive since our initial conversation. She provided us with several places to choose from for our photoshoot and was flexible with her timing. This came into play when we had thunderstorm warnings on the day of our photoshoot and had to pivot from a morning to a late afternoon photoshoot. Lauren was great with our boys and made the toddler feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She was easy to talk to and gave us some direction on pose.
