Silvia gave us such a gift by shooting our surprise engagement photos in Venice! I knew I wanted to propose to my girlfriend Faith during our Italian vacation, and when I reached out on Local Lens, Silvia provided several excellent suggestions on locations and ideal times (sunset, golden hour, etc.) during our stay in Venice.

After reviewing her suggestions for gondolas, bridges, and canal locations, I settled on a perfect bridge that she suggested, which was outside the main tourist district. It was the perfect location for Silvia to covertly capture our special moment as it happened (and Faith even said yes ;D).

After the proposal, we hopped in a gondola with Silvia for some additional photos, and at my request, she even brought along a bottle of bubbly for us to have a toast while cruising on the canal (with Silvia there to capture it all) . . . Just PERFECT! -Joe
