We booked a session with Maria for our recent trip to Rome, knowing we wanted quality images where everyone was in the same shot. But there's a wrinkle - our family is not generally camera-comfortable. Despite our awkwardness, Maria put us at ease from the very beginning allowing us to take risks with the shots that we otherwise would have avoided.

She was friendly, kind, and patient and had a terrific eye for detail. At one point, she noticed that the outlines of several phones were visible in our pockets, so she offered to hold them in her camera bag to prevent distractions in the images.

She also ensured everyone had their eyes open before moving on to a different shot and offered a good range of locations to capture the images. Where she really excels, however, is in the colors and lighting, which made our photos truly pop.

Having family photos of our trip was important to me, but I didn't realize how much they would mean until I saw our gallery, which nearly brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, Maria, for capturing such amazing memories of our family vacation. -Andrea

Maria is absolutely hands down amazing! We planned a surprise proposal shoot at the Trevi fountain and she had the greatest tips for making the moment perfect and capturing every detail! We were staying at the hotel right across the street (highly recommend if you plan a surprise proposal as well, so easy to get down there without the crowds) with a beautiful view, and she also had the idea to come up with us for some shots, and those turned out to be some of our favorites.

We also walked to the Spanish steps, having a comfortable conversation throughout the couple-minute walk there. She really gets to know you and learns how to capture the best parts of you during the shoot. I highly recommend her for any photography wherever she can go! I’ve already told a handful of couples in person to go with Maria 🙂
