My fiancé and I met two years ago online during the pandemic. Our first phone conversation was fairly brief and a little dry. We spoke a week later with far less distractions going on around us and felt an immediate connection. From that point on we were inseparable spending hours and nights on the phone until we finally met in person several weeks later. When we met in person for dinner, we couldn't take our eyes off of each other and the rest as they say is history! We've since gone on to blend our two families together bringing our kids together to form a beautiful family. Our engagement was a beautiful experience to signal the next chapter in our lives. She was extremely patient, creative, and she helped plan the perfect surprise photo shoot from start to finish! I've always wanted to visit the Griffith Observatory, and Alicia reinforced my thinking that it would be a beautiful place to capture the special moment. My fiancé was completely surprised with the proposal, and we both couldn’t be happier that it was all captured in such great photos. We booked a shoot because I wanted photos of the proposal and with my new fiancé. I submitted a photoshoot request and connected with Alicia about a month before our planned vacation to San Diego. She was FANTASTIC at helping me pick out locations for both the proposal and photoshoot! I tend to have a lot of anxiety about things when there isn't a plan in place, and Alicia helped piece together the perfect proposal! I asked my partner out for a date night the morning the proposal was set to take place. He agreed and didn't realize that I had my plan all set. When it was time to leave for our date night, I told him that I had planned out what our evening would consist of earlier that day. We headed to Scripps Park for a walk where I proposed on a portion of the path that bordered the ocean. Alicia did a wonderful job of blending in with the other park-goers until the moment of the proposal. After some tears were wiped away, Alicia introduced herself to us and got the engagement photo shoot underway! She took amazing photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough! She ensured that our photos had the perfect backgrounds, and helped direct us to pose.
