Oahu was a dream vacation destination for us and it lived up to the hype. I wanted a proposal with beautiful scenery behind me and that is what I got. I did a surprise proposal at the top of the Makapuu Lighthouse trail in Oahu. The proposal was perfect - Nicole was discreetly waiting for us at the top of the trail to capture the moment. We met in college and had been dating for 6 years. We had always wanted to go to Hawaii and had our first chance to go there this February, for our 6 year anniversary. I wanted to capture the moment authentically. I reached out to Nicole after she was available the night I wanted to propose. She helped with everything, especially suggesting less crowded places in Waikiki we might be able to have a more intimate proposal! She did a great job of capturing the moment, and then helped get some nice photos after. -Connor

I did a shoot on North Shore, Hawaii! I picked the city for the proposal by crowdsourcing through Reddit for a location that was secluded and lush with nature but still had a good view of the sunset. A popular option was Kawela Bay and when Nicole (my photographer) told me that Kawela Bay would be a great option I locked it in. To encapsulate the moment, but it ended up being a great way to extend the moment and live in the bliss of the proposal for the whole hour! Better than I ever could have imagined. Nicole went above and beyond in order to make the moment special (I ordered a bouquet of roses to her house and she arranged them in the shape of a heart for us). She helped me pick out the location and communicated excellently about timing. Not only that, her poses and photography made for perfect photos, everyone is impressed! -Max

I’m from Australia, Nicole got back to me and helped me organize a remote beach (less crowded) and I came up with a plan and she helped execute it and was fabulous and lovely. -Ashley

We booked a shoot for maternity. Nicole was wonderful - recommended a perfect secluded spot for our session, and left us with so many great pictures to capture our first pregnancy. We’re very happy! 🙂 -Caitlin

My wife asked for it as a gift. We decided to do a photo shoot to commemorate our tenth anniversary and my wife's 50th birthday. All went well, Nicole (photographer) was awesome. Nicole was very accommodating. She had no problem changing the location even when my wife decided to make a last-minute change to our shoot location. Nicole also advised us of the bad weather forecast for the day of the shoot and was able to change the date to better weather. In our humble opinion photos turned out great and we would definitely recommend Local Lens and Nicole to our friends and family. -Saima
