We met through a relative of mine- my cousin is her best friend. We started dating in 2021, and in 2022 I invited her to accompany me on a trip to Greece and Italy with my family. Knowing that I was going to propose to her here in Greece, I looked online for "proposal photographers", which is where Local Lens showed up. I looked at some of the photographers available in Santorini and eventually got a message from Dimosthenis! He had a great portfolio of shots from the area, so I decided to message him back and set up a call between the two of us to discuss the details. He came up with a few great proposal options, and eventually, we settled on one which was perfect for me and my (now) fiancé! My fiancé had wanted a photographer to be at the proposal no matter what, so I used the photoshoot as a way of disguising the proposal. When we got to Greece, Dimosthenis met us in Oia, where we had our photoshoot. We started off at a few different locations, getting some individual shots, as well as some of us together. We eventually made our way to a spot where there was an incredible view of the blue domes and Dimosthenis said the code-phrase, "I really love this location" which was his way of asking if I wanted to propose here. I confirmed with him my code-phrase, "Yeah, this is a great spot," and the action had begun! We take photos, one of which is a "funny pose" of me "fake proposing", only to be followed up by me pulling out the actual engagement ring. She said yes, we got some more photos taken, and now we're engaged. It was an awesome overall experience and I couldn't have been happier with choosing Local Lens! -Chris

Dimosthenis did a phenomenal job as our photographer. He was attentive, fun, and overall very nice. Our family was late because we got lost within the narrow streets but he was very nice and understanding. This photoshoot session was for my mom's birthday and he made it an unforgettable session.
